Community Care Choice provide a flexible service offering individuals control and choice in the way they receiver their care. Our service users are involved in choosing their service from the very start.
We provide services to a range of local councils and carers centres throughout Glasgow. The feedback we receive through our quality assurance process has been overwhelmingly positive.
"Having support to stay in my own home is very important to me. I now have a carer who comes to help me get to bed and takes my dog Mischa out. I have the same carers who I have a great relationship with and I trust them."
We are an established company who have been providing support at home and in the community for ten years in the Glasgow area.
We are a user led orginisation that seek to empower people to live independant lives through making their own choices and controlling their own budgets.
Individuals using our service are put at the heart of our orginisation. Our aim is to match them with our experienced support workers so that it is possible to establish trust and continuity of care.
We provide a range of care packages, which are tailored to suit your needs as our staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our Care Manager Joeanne Hamilton can discuss with you the different levels of support we can offer and will ensure best practice at all times.
At Community Care Choice we will strive to provide you with the appropriate staff at the times you require.
Joeanne and service users Joanna Bradford, Catherine Lawrie and John White danced their socks off all afternoon at the Fairfield Working Mens Club
It just shows you that you can do anything if you put your mind to it and we are so proud of Bernie Hunter who took over two years to create this amazing collage of Agnes Brown from Mrs Brown’s Boys TV Series. Bernie painstakingly rolled every piece of tissue paper to create this fabulous artwork which she presented to Brendan O’Carroll at his recent tour in Glasgow. Bernie you are a star!
Delighted to announce on a Monday morning that Joeanne Hamilton has been shorlisted for Management and Leadership in the Care Inspectorate Scottish Care Awards 2016. Congratulations to all those nominated.
Understanding and supporting people with dementia from Alzheimer’s Society:
“Living with dementia can have a big emotional, social, psychological and practical impact on a person. Many people with dementia describe these impacts as a series of losses and adjusting to them is challenging. This factsheet aims to give people – and carers in particular – a better understanding of what it is like to have dementia. It looks at ways to support someone to live well with the condition, based on that understanding. It also looks at how supporting someone with dementia can affect carers.

Some of our service users including John White, Martin Fanning, Catherine Lawrie and Joanna Bradford enjoy their regular Tuesday day out to The Fairfield Club in Govan where they can enjoy activities including line dancing and bingo. The club gives our service users an opportunity to meet up on a weekly basis and catch up on what they have been doing.
