Service user Jodie Taylor had a great day with Support Worker Kelly Hanley at the Glasgow Disability Alliance annual get together at the People’s Palace. Well done to Jodie for recently completing her Activate course with Glasgow Disability Alliance and we all wish her well for the future at as she goes on to study for an NQ in Social Care Langside CollegeGlasgow Disability Alliance is a membership organisation run by and for disabled people. Community Care Choice Sponosors Southside Boxing Academy

“Put’emup”. We are delighted to be able to support a great community initiative Southside Boxing Academy​. Our Support Worker Kelly Hanley has been involved with the group since it started two years ago and along with many others, including ex-professional boxer, Anthony Quayle, they have given their time volunatarily to develop the club which has grown from 3 to over 30 members, from 6 years old to adults The club has also recently been very successful in a number of professional tournaments #ContinuityOfCareAndCompassion

Congratulations to Donna and Joeanne on becoming Dementia Ambassadors through Scottish Social Services Council. Donna and Joeanne are part of the Dementia Ambassador programme and play a key role in supporting and developing the skills of the workforce who support people living with dementia as part of the Scottish Government’s Promoting Excellence framework.
